One of the reasons for discomfort and acoustic shock in interpreters is the difference in volume between different participants.
To prevent this in InterStar ICP, we designed a more granular control of the incoming audio of your boothmates.
Under each video thumbnail for your boothmates you will see a drop-down menu that will allow you to increase or decrease the audio from the boothmate individually. That way you can adjust their volume in such a way that everybody sounds at about the same volume. It will definitely be much more comfortable. Be careful not to increase the volume in big steps to avoid discomfort.
