Update: as of August 2024, this feature requires additional work. We will work on that ASAP.

2 Factor Authentication is a security feature of InterStar ICP that allows you to make sure that only the person who received the link by email is joining the event.

In a standard invitation each category of users [interpreters, technicians, clients] receive the same link per category. For example all interpreters receive the same interpreter link.

When you set up your event you can enable 2FA by clicking the appropriate checkbox.

In that case you can no longer share links from your own email or text messenger with participants. You should use the built in InterStar ICP invitation system.

Each participant will receive an individual link to a specific email. When participant clicks the link, an additional 4 digit security code will be sent to the participant to the same email address, so each link can be used only once.
