How does the system perform in low bandwidth/poor Internet environment?

InterStar ICP is specifically designed to adapt to varying quality of the Internet connection.

Adaptive Bitrate and Resolution: ICP automatically adjusts the bitrate and resolution of video streams based on the available bandwidth. This helps maintain a good connection and ensures that meetings can continue with acceptable quality, even if the network conditions degrade​.

Switching to Audio-Only Mode: If your bandwidth becomes too low to sustain video calls, ICP can automatically switch to audio-only mode, which significantly reduces data usage and maintains communication. Audio quality does not degrade.

The system uses Opus codec for best audio quality.

We tested InterStar ICP under pretty stringent simulated network conditions and it still performed well considering all the limitations. See more information below.
