In InterStar ICP we implemented a number of security measures to protect your account and your information.
The list below is not exhaustive and is constantly updated:
1] when you login into your account you are required to enter a 4 digit 2 factor authentication code sent to you by email. It is a default feature and cannot be disabled.
2]before you create your first event you should create an encryption key that is used to encrypt your chat information on our server
3] you can set up 2 factor authentication for specific events. To do that check “2 factor authentication” box when you set up your event.
If you use 2 factor authentication for a specific event, you should only send the invitation to that event through our invitation system.
Each participant will receive an individual link. When they click the link a 4 digit security code will be emailed to them and they will need to enter it before they are allowed to join the event.
4] each event can be locked in such a way that nobody else can join. The lock/unlock icon is the icon of a padlock in your interpreter or technician screen.
Please note that if you lock the event nobody will be able to join the event even if they have the correct link or code.
We also adhere to the best practices of maintaining server security and connection security to protect your accounts and information.
