ICP does not have artificial background noise suppression to maintain clean audio. However it means that if your room has background noise or your microphone is very sensitive it will add background noise into the system.
Keep your microphones muted if not interpreting.
The general rule that is easy to remember is: both RSI and ICP microphones are turned on when you are interpreting, both are turned off if you are not interpreting.
