Any interpreter or technician can lock or unlock the entire event from the console by clicking the “padlock” icon in the “Details” tab. You will see a message that will specify if the event is locked or unlocked. The default is “unlocked”.
If you lock an event, nobody else will be able to join. This option is recommended for security for more secure events.
Important: to prevent complete event lockouts the account administrator/user can unlock the event in the event settings in the administrator screen.
Important: if you a legitimate event user and have been locked out, write a message to the technician or fellow interpreters or event organizers to disable event lock and let you in.
