It can be either.
If you run ICP on the same device, depending on your hardware, you may need a second microphone or video camera. But in most cases it will work with the same microphone and the same video camera.
If you run it on 2 different devices make sure that you use the microphone for the second device to deliver quality audio to your boothmates.
