InterStar Translations/InterStar ICP SaaS Services Privacy Policy
InterStar Translations/InterStar ICP (“InterStar”) is committed to your privacy. This InterStar Translations/InterStar ICP SaaS Services Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) describes the types of information we collect from and about you when you order InterStar SaaS Services. This Privacy Policy also explains how InterStar Translations/InterStar ICP may use and disclose such information, as well as your ability to control certain uses of it.
INFORMATION TYPE:
Personal Information
- InterStar collects personal information from you only when you: (1) order services from us; or (2) request information from us or otherwise contact us. The personal information we collect may include your name, address, telephone number, email address, company name, and, if you are a InterStar customer, credit card number.
- We, or a third party service provider acting on our behalf (“Service Provider”), may periodically conduct customer surveys. If you agree to participate in a survey, your personal information and responses will remain confidential, even if the survey is conducted by a Service Provider. We use the survey responses to help improve the quality of our services to you, as well as to develop new services and products. We may also share this survey information in an aggregated, non-personally identifiable form with third parties.
Customer Proprietary Network Information (“CPNI”)
- “Customer Proprietary Network Information,” or “CPNI” is personally identifiable information indicating to whom, where, and when a customer places a call, as well as the types of service offerings to which a customer subscribes and how much any particular service is used. We collect CPNI through the ordinary course of our customer-carrier relationship with you.
INFORMATION USE:
- Subject to any legal restrictions on our use of CPNI and your instructions to us, InterStar or its Service Providers may use the information we collect from and about you for any of the following purposes: (1) to fulfill orders, provide service and communicate with customers; (2) to develop new products or services; (3) to respond to your inquiries; (4) to provide you with targeted offers and advertising on our website; (5) to contact you with information and promotional materials from our company as well as from our subsidiaries, affiliates, marketing partners, advertisers and other third parties; or (6) to contact you when necessary. We may also use your information as described to you at the point of collection, with your opt-in or opt-out consent. If you would like to restrict the use of your personal information for marketing purposes, you may the unsubscribe function included in every marketing email.
- We use and disclose your credit card information only to process payments and prevent fraud.
- InterStar may use your CPNI to offer you additional services of the type you already purchase from InterStar. We may also use your CPNI to offer you other InterStar products and services, packages, discounts and promotions, which may be different from the types of services you already purchase. If you would like to restrict the use of your CPNI for the marketing of certain products and services, you may contact us my phone or in writing. When making such a request, please be sure to reference the customer name as shown in the billing invoice, the account number(s) you wish restricted and the billing address(es) associated with the account(s) in question. Restricting use will not eliminate all InterStar marketing contacts.
INFORMATION DISCLOSURE
- Subject to any legal restrictions on our use of CPNI and your instructions to us, InterStar may disclose the information we collect from and about you as follows: (1) to our affiliates, business partners, agents and Service Providers, if the disclosure will enable them to perform a business, professional or technical support function for us; (2) as necessary if we believe that there has been a violation of the InterStar Acceptable Use Policy or of our rights or the rights of any third party; (3) to respond to judicial process and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law; and (4) as described to you at the point of collection, with your opt-in or opt-out consent. In addition, in the event that InterStar or substantially all of its assets are acquired, your information may be one of the transferred assets. We will provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- InterStar does not disclose CPNI to third parties without customer consent except as required or allowed by law. When InterStar uses Service Providers that require the use of CPNI, InterStar requires that such Service Providers protect CPNI consistent with this privacy policy. InterStar does not sell CPNI to unaffiliated third parties.
JOINT MARKETING
From time to time, InterStar and a partner may jointly promote services. In these situations, InterStar may provide the partner with certain personal information (such as the name, address and user name of customers who subscribed to the service as a result of the joint promotion), for the exclusive purpose of implementing the promotion and allowing InterStar and its partner to assess the results of the promotion. The partner may not use the information for any other purpose.

We have taken certain physical, electronic, contractual and managerial steps to safeguard the information we collect from and about our customers. While we make every effort to help ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee our security measures.

InterStar reserves the right to revise this policy at any time. When we do, we will post the change(s) on our website at http://www.localhost:10023. If we change the policy in a material way, we will provide appropriate online notice to you.
