Yes. Technical moderators/chief interpreters have their own console that allows them to listen to interpreters in ICP even if interpreters are not broadcasting into the main RSI event.
Currently [August 2024] technical moderators/chief interpreters cannot talk to the interpretation team, they can only send check messages and quick messages.
So technical moderators/chief interpreters can write messages to a specific booth and that booth [if necessary] can answer verbally on ICP. Interpreters just need to make sure that they are not broadcasting that audio into the main RSI event.
