Interpreter console timer

Interpreters alternate during RSI events. The length of the shift may be shorter for RSI events because there is more cognitive overload.

In order to track your time we created the interpreter console timer. It works as follows:

-any interpreting the booth can set up the length of the shift in the drop-down menu. It will propagate/synchronize that settings for all the remaining interpreters in the booth

-when you click “start time” the countdown starts

– When 1 minute remains before the end of your shift, the timer turns yellow

-When the timer elapses, it becomes red

-The new interpreter who is taking over can reset the timer and the countdown will start again.
