1] check that you’re in the correct booth. Switch to another booth if necessary
2] check that you’re getting video from other boothmates and that your boothmates are in the list of participants
3] make sure that you volume slider is not all the way to the left, increase volume if necessary
4] make sure that your incoming boothmate audio is not accidentally muted. The button should show “boothmates unmuted” for you to be able to hear your boothmates.
5] make sure that the headset is correctly connected
6] make sure that in your computer settings you selected the correct audio device to listen to, for example the headset. In Windows click the icon of a speaker in the bottom right-hand corner of your desktop to see what device you selected to listen to. In most situations it should be a headset. The same headset should be selected in the interpreter console in the “listen through” drop-down menu.
7] if you cannot hear a particular boothmate, make sure that the individual volume adjustment for that boothmate is not set too low [the drop-down menu under that booth mail thumbnail video].
