When you enter interpreter console, your microphone is turned off by default. It corresponds to a gray microphone icon in the top right-hand corner of your video thumbnail. When you turn your microphone on, the indicator becomes red.
You can understand the status of your boothmate microphone in ICP by looking at the top right-hand corner of their video thumbnail.
